Flight behaviour of injured bats
The part of the project will look at the flight patterns of healthy (without wing tears), wing-torn and rehabilitated bats in flight cages (or carers' spare rooms). Behaviour will be recorded using a high-speed video camera at 500 fps and analysed using specialist tracking software. The flight distances will be standardised and will require a 2.5-metre flight front-on to the camera.
